GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

Garney Construction is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in Kansas City, MO to support our national business development initiatives and activities. T he successful candidate will have an understanding of business development/sales activities and prior conference and event planning experience. Some travel required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Coordinates company involvement with national trade conferences including attendee event registration, hotel reservations, exhibitor booth registration, sponsorship, including travel to conferences.
• Plans, organizes and oversees client events including strategy, theme, venue, catering, etc.
• Maintains registration of company’s national trade organization memberships.
• Manages company’s promotional items including research / selection of items, soliciting pricing and managing inventory.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 Years of professional experience in similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong work and personal ethics, self-motivated and results driven.
