Job Description
The Fire Alarm Designer will be responsible for the layout and design of fire alarm systems using AutoCAD. The designer will prepare submittal packages to obtain permits and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and standards, local AHJ requirements, and project specifications. This individual will play a key role in project planning, technical documentation, and field coordination.
Minimum of 5–7 years of fire alarm system design experience.
NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems required; NICET Level IV preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD
Familiarity with AHJ requirements and permitting processes.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
