We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Designer to join our team of over 1,000 professionals in the industry. This opportunity is based in our Tulsa, Oklahoma location. Responsibilities Communicate technical concepts to sales reps, operations team, and customers. Design and layout of Fire Alarm systems in AutoCAD per code requirements. Design and layout of Access Control systems in AutoCAD per code requirements. Build equipment submittals. Assist with pre-construction and project management. Evaluate design workloads and manage sub-contract design team projects. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Requirements Prefer 2-5 years of experience with Fire Alarm systems layout per NFPA 72 & 101. Proficient in AutoCAD 2019 or newer. Experience with Fire Alarm systems preferred. Notifier alarm system experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Skills and Abilities Knowledge of relevant codes. Ability to engage with local AHJs regarding code requirements. Self-starter with minimal oversight. Strong analytical skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Detail-oriented with multitasking ability. Responsibility for design work. Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies.
