About the Role:

BellAir is hiring a Fleet Scheduler to manage the day-to-day scheduling and movement of our Citation X fleet. This role is vital to the success of our operations and requires direct aviation experience in a Part 135 charter environment.

You'll be responsible for coordinating fleet utilization, handling irregular operations, and working closely with our Operations, Maintenance, Sales, and Crew Scheduling teams to keep the schedule efficient, compliant, and responsive to changing conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Optimization & Efficiency:
  Oversee daily scheduling for BellAirs Citation X fleet with an emphasis on minimizing reposition flights and maximizing aircraft availability.
• Irregular Operations (IROPs):
  Take point on irregular operations, making timely decisions and adjustments to minimize impact to clients and crews.
• Empty Leg Management:
  Track and manage fleet repositioning legs, working with Sales to identify opportunities for revenue generation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
  Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Sales, and Crew Scheduling to align aircraft movements with maintenance needs, crew duty limits, and customer demands.
• Real-Time Schedule Management:
  Adapt to rapidly changing conditions, weather, MX delays, client needs, and update the team and schedule accordingly.
• Performance Tracking:
  Monitor monthly Fleet Efficiencyand contribute to internal reporting and performance goals.
  

Compensation & Monthly Bonus

This position offers a base salary with the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses based on Fleet Efficiency.

Requirements

• Required: Prior experience in Part 135 charter aviation, in an Operations Department
• Required: Understanding of aircraft movement, utilization, and compliance in a commercial environment
• Preferred: Background in flight operations, dispatch, or scheduling
• Proficiency with aviation scheduling platforms (e.g., Jetinsight, Avinode, or similar)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays
