Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a qualified candidate for the temporary contractor staffing position of Technical Writer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. Under general supervision, the Technical Writer will edit and review documents for system applications and related communications.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Edit and review agency system applications for grammar and style.
- Proofread and ensure quality and consistency in technical documents.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain adherence to AP Style guidelines and brand voice.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of experience in technical writing or editing.
Required Skills:
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Keen eye for detail, grammar, and style.
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Experience writing and adhering to AP Style.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to use brand voice appropriately across various mediums.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in writing for government entities.
- Background in writing for government entities.
