National Account Manager – Cigna Healthcare – Remote Overview The National Account Manager (NAM) will oversee the operational performance and strategic execution for Cigna clients with 5,000+ employee lives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing service strategies supporting large client benefit programs, wellness, and employee relations, as well as driving persistency, membership growth, and profitability. The NAM manages business relationships, collaborates across product lines, and ensures systems and processes meet client needs and organizational efficiency. Candidate Profile Ideal candidates will have: College Degree or 5+ years related experience 3+ years in healthcare/managed care, with knowledge in product offerings, underwriting, risk analysis, marketing, sales, and operations Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Strategic, financial, and partnership skills to grow the business Strong planning, organizational, and leadership abilities in a matrixed environment Verbal and written communication proficiency Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking Necessary licenses obtained Key Responsibilities Support growth, profitability, and client retention through service and account management Collaborate with advocacy and operational teams to enhance customer and client experience Stay informed on market trends and effectively communicate Cigna's offerings Partner with NAE on retention, growth, and satisfaction strategies Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and consultants Maintain deep knowledge of Cigna products and healthcare legislation Lead dental reporting, analytics, and presentation efforts Implement consumerism strategies to increase enrollment and drive behavioral change Understand underwriting principles and leverage resources for client solutions Represent Cigna at market events and manage provider network activities Additional Information Remote work requires internet with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
