Salary:

Summary : Oversee the day to day operation and strategic planning of the Residential Services and affiliated programs .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the establishment and supervision of Waiver funded facilities to include, Supported Living and In Home Support.
  2. Oversee, supervise and monitor Supported Living and In-Home Support and Community Based Waivers programs and facilities.
  3. Work closely with government agencies to ensure delivery to the persons with disabilities.
  4. Perform Quality Assurance in accordance with the PCR model by monitoring the status of agency program, to include persons with disabilities and residential records to assure timely documentation in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, and standards for services provisions.
  5. Work closely with the management team and the persons with disabilities circle of support to ensure that the persons with disabilities needs are met.
  6. Identify undefined needs of the persons with disabilities and advocate for necessary services.
  7. Monitor and maintain prior authorizations for needed services.
  8. Complete Action Plans of Corrections as required by government agencies.
  9. Facilitate new developments and or intake.
  10. Direct the work activities of the QDDP, Residential Managers and Direct Care Staff.
  11. Conduct Performance Management Reviews.
  12. Oversee quarterly goals for grants, contracts, and new business.
  13. Facilitate HRC meetings.
  14. Work in concert with the Nursing Department and Day Habilitation Services.
  15. Perform other related duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience :

Masters Degree preferred from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Human Services or Health Administration with specialized training in working with the developmentally disabled; and/or any combination of education, experience or training deemed appropriate by the organization. Must possess at least five to seven years of supervisory and management experience. Training in crisis intervention preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations :

Must have valid drivers license and clear driving record; must have cleared and approved criminal record check; must hold First Aid/CPR certification.

  6. Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications
  7. Must be flexible and organized.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to occasionally lift objects up to 10 lbs. Must possess the ability to perform standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
