Role Summary

The Manager of Revenue Operations is responsible for optimizing and aligning the revenue-generating processes across sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This strategic role focuses on creating a cohesive operational framework that leverages data analysis, process optimization, and technology integration to remove silos and enhance the efficiency of the revenue cycle. By fostering collaboration and streamlining internal systems, the Manager of Revenue Operations ensures that the organization's growth targets are met with precision and scalability.

Key Aspects of the Role

  • Develop and implement optimal process and policy that support the organization’s growth objectives.
  • Partner closely with the leadership team on strategic go-to-market initiatives and to set revenue targets.
  • Oversee implementation, administration and adoption of rev ops tools and technology.
  • Maintain data hygiene and governance within the GTM tech stack.
  • Lead the effort to strategically identify target accounts and contacts.
  • Support Marketing in campaign creation and deployment.
  • Manage territory design and sales rules of engagement.
  • Design and manage incentive compensation plans.
  • Work with Finance to ensure accurate revenue reporting and alignment with financial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Support, Program Management, Finance, and Enterprise Technology teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor revenue performance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee enablement and training initiatives.
  • Manage GTM vendor relationships.
  • Enable effective pipeline and forecast management.
  • Leverage data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with the leadership team on ad hoc projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Revenue Operations team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and performance excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Comfortable personally administering sales tools such as Salesforce, marketing automation tools, sales engagement tools and prospecting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Extensive experience designing reports, dashboards and presentations to tell effective stories.
  • Proven track record of successfully training and managing adoption with sales and account management teams.
  • Expertise in multiple sales methodologies.
  • Proven aptitude for managing pipelines, forecasting and territory planning.
  • Experience collaborating with C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative culture, and driving engagement.

Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds; vision to read printed materials on a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
