JOB TITLE: Sales Support and Marketing
Woodwright Hardwood Floor Co., LLC. Dallas, Texas.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Initiate, coordinate, and execute sales support for architectural + design (A+D) r epresentatives and project managers. Serve as initial contact for all callers and visitors to Woodwright.
Marketing and Social Media involvement.
WORK LOCATION AND ATTENDANCE : The Sales Support position is designated as an in-office role and is not eligible for remote or work-from-home arrangements. Due to the nature of the responsibilities associated with this position, including on-site collaboration, use of specialized equipment, client interactions, receiving visitors, office deliveries, etc., an in-person presence at the workplace is required. Employees in this role are expected to adhere to the organization's on-site attendance policies and perform their duties at the designated work location during business hours.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – SALES SUPPORT: (95% effort)
- Support the sales team in tracking direct sales and turnkey leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Manage assembly and distribution of sales information and product samples as part of follow-up to specific sales calls, either in response to cold calls or at the direction of the A+D Reps.
- Assist the sales team with scheduling appointments, activities and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records in Pipedrive CRM.
- Coordinate and send out pre-travel email campaigns on behalf of traveling A+D reps, securing attendance.
- Research and create calendar events for national American Institute of Architects (AIA) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA) events that will enhance market branding of Woodwright through community events and opportunities.
- Reconcile lead gen data collected. Research and filter company information into Pipedrive CRM.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify prospects, industry postings and engagement on behalf of A+D reps.
- Coordinate trade show and other event participation as required.
- Assist with social media content creation and posting.
- Assist with creating, editing and posting of blogs, You Tube videos, and direct email campaigns.
- Acquire and curate project photography. Interface with photographers to acquire photography of finished projects for marketing purposes.
- Assist with curation, coordination and PowerPoint production of internal photo display for monthly company safety meetings.
- Prepare the showroom for events by arranging tables, chairs, food and beverage. Return showroom space to idle condition after an event, refrigerate, distribute or dispose of remaining food and beverage items.
- Organize and coordinate food and beverages when required.
- Exercise considerable judgement and discretion in handling sales-related inquiries.
- Compose and distribute professional correspondence and e-mails using individual initiative and as assigned.
- Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, and handling regular mail.
- Proactively establish and maintain a highly organized filing system, correspondence and other records.
- Generate and edit spreadsheets, including formulas, formatting and graphs.
- Create and edit reports and slide presentations using Word and PowerPoint respectively.
- Assist in development and implementation of departmental systems and procedures as needed.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by A+D representative(s), Project Manager(s) or Management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – VISITOR ENGAGEMENT: (5% effort)
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and handle telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; take accurate messages with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy.
- Arrange and set up conference calls.
- Distribute daily internal/external mail and overnight packages; send and distributes sales literature.
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies, coordinates office equipment maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or one to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Minimum keystrokes of 50 wpm.
