THE ROLE

Here at Career.io, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Social Media Manager with at least 5 years of proven expertise in driving successful social media strategies in both paid and organic. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, a strong communicator, and have a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and analytics. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our company’s social media presence, developing engaging content, planning and deploying paid social campaigns and measuring performance to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion.

This is a 100% remote/work-from-home role.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   Strategy Development: Design and execute social media strategies and campaigns that align with the overall marketing goals of the organization. Develop short- and long-term plans to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue.
  •   Paid Social Advertising: Develop and execute social media and influencer campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads). Optimize targeting strategies, set budgets, and optimize ads for performance.
  •   Campaign Management: Lead and manage the execution of paid and organic social media campaigns and influencer collaborations.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Lead the creation of engaging, original content for various social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. Ensure content is tailored to each platform’s audience, tone, and objectives.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use social media analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the success of campaigns, traffic, and user engagement. Analyze insights to refine future content and strategies.
  •   Collaboration: Work closely with product marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms. Provide guidance and support on best social media practices.
  •   Trendspotting: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates. Recommend new initiatives and technologies to keep the brand’s social presence innovative and ahead of the curve.

THE MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social media channels and campaigns for brands or organizations.
  • Proven track record of growing social media communities and engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), best practices, and social media analytics tools.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and digital advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
  • Experience with influencer marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills (including graphics and video).
  • Creative mindset with an ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and complex environment, handling multiple brands across various business units.

THE NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how they relate to social media.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of video production and editing for social media.
