Join to apply for the Staff Product Manager - AI /ML role at Ironclad

Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies. Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. L’Oréal, Staples, Mastercard, and other leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement or a complex NDA.

Ironclad is writing the narrative that shows how beautiful and functional contracting will change business. We’re a leader in the Forrester Wave for Contract Lifecycle Management. We have been recognized as a Fortune Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. Our innovation and work culture have been recognized by Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2023, Forbes’ 50 Most Promising AI Companies, Wing Venture Capital's Enterprise Tech 30, and Gartner's Magic Quadrant. We work in a highly collaborative environment, and strive to foster a positive, inclusive culture. We’re backed by leading investors like Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia, and BOND. For more information, visit or follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter.

About this role:

In November 2024, we released Jurist - Ironclad’s first genAI assistant designed specifically for Lawyers. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to scale Jurist; help lead, design, and introduce our next set of assistants; and influence Ironclad’s overall AI strategy.

In this role, you will shape the future of Ironclad’s role-based assistants while ensuring the success of AI Platform. You will balance innovating with cutting edge technologies and meeting our customers and users where they are, ultimately making them more successful, efficient, and valuable to their stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to grow a multi-product business within Ironclad, and lead revenue-driving innovation.

A successful candidate will be equally excited about exploring the future of AI and deeply understanding the jobs, pains, and gains for our customers. They will be comfortable managing nuanced scoping and tradeoff conversations, relentlessly focused on creating iterative value, and effective at cross-functional collaboration. They will embrace their role as a leader both within their team, and the broader organization.

Key Skills:

  • Embrace ambiguity - this role and its structure will likely evolve, especially as we learn more about AI and the adoption of it within the legal space. It’s critical the person in-seat embraces the nature of the “unknown” this role demands
  • High ownership -- regardless of reporting structure, this role demands high ownership of everything from the strategy to the details of product execution, enablement, GTM partnership, and more to make this successful
  • Deeply collaborative -- given this is a product separate from, but integrated into, our core CLM product and business, its critical that the lines of communication between teams and across E/P/D and the entire organization (GTM, leadership, and more) are strong and thoughtful
  • Utilize speed as an advantage -- velocity is the ultimate competitive advantage in roles like this, ideally via a high-performing, tightly knit, cross-functional team
  • Always model good leadership at your core, and our company values of Drive, Intent, Integrity, and Empathy

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Prioritize features and functionality based on market research, customer feedback, technical feasibility, and business goals.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain platform capabilities such as infrastructure, user experiences, integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Define usage specifications and drive adoption.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards including managing dependencies.
  • Develop and communicate the product feature roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and translate them into product opportunities.
  • Create compelling product presentations and partner with go-to-market teams to develop materials to drive adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 1 year experience in a technical domain.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise software landscape and the challenges faced by enterprise customers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a must.

Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k
  • Wellness reimbursement
  • Take what you need vacation policy
  • Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
