Job Description: Radiologic Technologist (CT Scan)

Shift: Day (3x12-Hour)
Hours: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM
Schedule: Saturday - Monday

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist with specialization in CT imaging. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring proper positioning and technique.
  • Administer and manage contrast media before imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes in alignment with care standards.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technologies and software, including Siemens and GE systems.
  • Conduct biopsies and aspirations as part of diagnostic procedures.
  • Adhere to safety and radiation protection protocols.
  • Maintain patient records and align with Epic charting systems.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to interdisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Required - ARRT CT certification and BLS certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; experience with Siemens and GE imaging technology is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in 3D rendering, contrast media administration, and a range of imaging techniques including abdomen, thoracic, and neurological studies.
  • Technical Competencies: Ability to perform EKG testing as part of compliance requirements.
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Policies:
Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccination is also required with similar exemption policies.

Compliance Requirements:
  • Must complete a full compliance file by 12 noon EST prior to the start date.
  • No open cases in background checks will be accepted; current licensing in hand is required.
  • Education must be verified through a third party; certain schools may be excluded based on previous audits.
  • Willingness to float to various facilities as needed is required.

The facility serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages 105, with specialized care offered in areas such as trauma, oncology, and acute care.
