The Travel Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring patients' drug therapy needs are met through clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, teaching, administration, and research under the supervision of the Director. This 13-week travel position in Morristown, Vermont offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and requires hospital pharmacy experience and strong communication skills. The role complies with all applicable healthcare laws and utilizes skills in unit dose, IV admixtures, computer systems, and clinical pharmacy practice.

Under the supervision of the Director, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for assuring the drug therapy needs of the patient are met. There are five major areas of responsibility for the staff/clinical pharmacist. clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, teaching, administrative duties and conducting research. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
Familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, computer skills, technical and clinical pharmacy practice. Must be self-directed and have excellent communication skills. Must also have hospital experience, not just retail.
