As a STERIS Traveling Repair Specialist, you will travel to sharpen and repair stainless surgical instruments for Customers across Alaska, Montana, California, Nevada, Kansas, Hawaii, Cayman Islands, Japan, and Germany. All travel expenses paid for by STERIS. A passport is not required to obtain employment, however, you'll be required to obtain it as soon as possible after hire date. You will be gone 1-5 nights per week away from home. The maximum time away from home you'll spend would be up to 2 weeks, primarily for longer trips and international travels.
For this role, candidates can live anywhere in the US.
This role requires travel by driving a company vehicle. If offered this position, STERIS will run a 7 year driving record check, as part of our onboarding process.

• Assume role as onsite lead for 1-2 other Repair Technicians by managing workflow and day to day Customer needs.
• Responsible for mentoring less experienced Repair Technicians.
• Repair stainless surgical instrumentation.
• Responsible for Customer and account support tasks, including but not limited to, billing, quality assurance and inventory.
• Partner with Field Service Operations Manager to understand and achieve contract compliance and Customer satisfaction for assigned accounts.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues within Customer accounts timely and effectively.
• Collaborate with assigned team and National Asset Management team to ensure current and new account implementation is effective.

Pay range for this opportunity is $26.56 - $37.11. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
