Provide onsite and remote desktop support for OSX. Responsibilities Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for all macOS systems, Apple hardware (MacBooks, iMacs), and related peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues specific to macOS. Install, configure, and update macOS, software applications, and patches. Install and troubleshoot productivity software like Microsoft Office for Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom, etc. Resolve issues such as FileVault, password problems, certificate/keychain issues, application errors (Outlook, OneDrive), OS errors, and other Mac-related issues in an AD environment. Have advanced knowledge of Macintosh (Mac OSX server), OS installation, OSX configuration and troubleshooting, Apple Remote Desktop, cloning OSX desktops, and other Apple end-user support elements. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service. Travel between client sites as needed. Document work thoroughly in ticket systems like ServiceNow. Possess Apple Macintosh experience and/or certifications. Qualifications 3-5 years of Mac support experience in a business environment. Enterprise level experience preferred; Genuis Bar experience considered. Primary experience with Mac OS; Windows experience is a plus. Experience with all Apple devices, including iOS devices, iPads, and iPhones. Experience in a managed Mac environment; JAMF experience is a major plus. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse skill levels, including designers, scientists, and executives. Strong multitasking, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills. Apple Certifications are preferred but not required.
