We’re currently hiring in Morris, Illinois to support a district in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist. Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

  • $50 – $54 an hour
  • 2025-2026 School Year
  • $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
  • Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday.
  • Start Date: August 2025
  • End Date: May 2026
  • Location: In-person
  • Details: Caseload is split between two schools in Morris, IL, consisting of a self-contained Autism classroom of early childhood – 5th grade, and general education K-5th grade. The total caseload is approximately 33 students.
  • SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
  • SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
  • Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
  • May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
  • Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Illinois IDFPR SLP License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • School Experience is Preferred but not required
  • ASHA Certification
